Growth Score (computeGrowthScore)

Composite growth score (0–100) built from revenue growth vs sector, profit growth rate, EPS growth, CFO positivity, and revenue acceleration signals.

Formula: RevGrowthVsSector×25% + ProfitGrowth×25% + EPSGrowth×20% + CFO+×15% + RevAccel×15%

How to read it: > 70 = high-growth company · 40–70 = moderate growth · < 40 = stagnating or declining.

Academic evidence on growth is mixed: classic studies (Fama & French 1992; Lakonishok, Shleifer & Vishny 1994) found that expensive "glamour" stocks underperformed, while profitable, growing companies tend to do well. Use this score to describe a company's growth profile, ideally alongside the Value and Quality scores. Weights are this library's heuristics.
